Foreign Languages Not only do languages aid in communication, but they also teach logical thinking and improved understanding of one's native tongue. Latin French German Italian Spanish You'll notice that we carry several different Latin courses, but very few textbooks for modern languages. That is because we believe that modern languages should be learned by living them. The best way to do that is to live in the country where the language is spoken. The second best way to learn a modern language is to have regular contact with someone who is a native speaker, learning from conversation with that person. If neither of those is possible, a software program might do the trick. The last resort is a textbook alone.
